The people we support are at the centre of everything we do. Our team is committed to good quality person-centred care. They take the time to get to know each person that we support, to understand their individual needs and to help them reach their goals.

Our team works in partnership with every individual to create a support plan together, considering strengths and areas that the person needs to focus on to gain further independence. Where an individual is unable to carry out a particular task, staff will support as required in that area. We provide person-centred support to encourage each person to build their confidence, develop their self-esteem and live the best life that they can.

Empowering the people we support to gain independence, improve their wellbeing and achieve their full potential is what our team is dedicated to do. It is really important to us that the people we support make their own choices and have control in their lives, we are always there to support when things become more difficult.

The support we provide is tailored to each individual service users’ needs and can range from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We provide support in a number of areas that encompass daily living and social skills. This includes:

  • Support with personal care
  • Domestic tasks such as cooking, laundry, cleaning and shopping
  • Administering medication
  • Maintaining a healthy lifestyle
  • Managing finances and budgeting
  • Support to claim and manage benefits
  • Community inclusion
  • Support with identifying and applying for paid or unpaid employment or voluntary work
  • Further support to attend work and at work if necessary
  • Support to arrange and attend day time activities

Respect and care for others: at the heart of all our work

Human dignity is the focus of our work. Team S.A.I believes in the principles of respect, tolerance and social justice, and we regard self-determination as the key to self-fulfilment for all of us. These values are reflected in all our day-to-day work with all our clients.

Promoting Independence, Choice & Control

We aim to empower service users to live a high quality of life by promoting their independence and individuality and by supporting them to achieve choice and control in their daily lives.

We aim to give all our clients choice and control over who their care worker is, and will respect our client’s right to change their care worker in the event of non-compatibility.
